PRIVACY POLICY

The management and protection of the personal data of users of the www.northaegeansailing.com website are governed by the provisions of the current legislation regarding the protection of personal data, the decisions of the authority and the present terms. The North Aegean Sailing company is committed to meeting these measurements for users of our website.

The website www.northaegeansailing.com and the company North Aegean Sailing N.A.S. do NOT collect personal information of site users, except when those of which are offered willingly. The collection of personal data of website users is when they register as members or clients and their participation in free website services, promotions, new services, advertising campaigns supported by itself and by the provision of data by email.
The use of personal data is always managed carefully and in such a way as to not violate the privacy legislation.
The data that is kept in our electronic archive include forname, surname and email address. Other items that can be stored, but which are not mandatory to enter as a the customer include address, telephone number and date of birth.

The collection of customers’ personal data – members in any case:

Is NOT commercialized.
Is NOT shared for any reason to third parties.
It can be stored on other media beyond what you originally saved or copied digitally from the natural processing person. This can only be done by the company North Aegean Sailing for the security of our online service data purposes.

The collection of members/customers’ personal information:

Is used only and exclusively for the services of the website such as the processing of electronic booking and payment for vessels or activities as well as for sending information material such as discount offers and the publication of events run by the North Aegean Sailing company.
At anytime customers/members may request the deletion of their account (containing all the information) or to update or diversify in a way that they feel more comfortable with.
Customers/members who visit the www.northaegeansailing.com website agree and expressly consent to the collection and processing of their personal information in the ways described by North Aegen Sailing N.A.S. company
In case of disagreement, customers/members may refuse the use of their personal information either through appropriate choices to where the information is requested, or following a notice to North Aegean Sailing N.A.S. company with an accompanying letter. E-mail: [email protected]

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Bookings:

A deposit of 30% of the total charter cost is required to confirm a booking.The balance must be paid at less than 30 days before the commencement of the Charter. If your payment of the balance is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the booking with consequent forfeiture of the booking deposit.
Bookings made less than 30 days prior to the charter date must be paid upon receipt of a confirmation invoice.
Payments are accepted by: Bank transfer, Visa, Master Card, Cash.
If the 2nd payment is not paid by the date as stated on the booking confirmation without any notice from the charterer then North Aegean Sailingreserve the right to cancel the charter without returning the advance payment.

Security deposit:

Before embarking on the boat, the client will provide North Aegean Sailing with a refundable deposit – in cash or credit card Visa/Master – intended to cover the cost for any loss or damage to the boat while on charter. The deposit is returned in full at the end of the charter period in case there is no damage or loss. Otherwise, the relevant cost is deducted from the deposit and the client will receive the balance.
The security deposit for boat rental is €1,500.

Insurance / All boats are insured against:

Risks arising from liability to third parties and damage to hull, machinery & equipment.
Third party liability.
Sea pollution liability.
A deductible provision is applied, depending on the yachts value.

Cancellations terms:

In case you have to cancel your booking, the following terms apply:

Cancellations 60 days before departure: a penalty of 30% of the rental amount.
Cancellations 30 to 60 days before departure: a penalty of 50% of the rental amount.
Cancellations less than 30 days before departure a penalty of 100% of the rental amount.

Changing of Dates:

If the charter is not possible because of severe weather conditions you will be offered an alternative day. If no other date can be found, you will get a refund of 50% of the booking price.
No payment is refunded for short-term trips If a visitor wants to change his Booking, such visitor will need to contact and communicate with North Aegean Sailing support team directly. Visitors should note however that, North Aegean Sailing may charge visitors additional charges for such changes and visitors must also note that North Aegean Sailing may not be able to cater such changes at all.
We will refund all payments only if we succeed in booking the Yacht to another Charterer for the same period and under the same conditions.
Flexible cancellation or change. Free cancellation up to 15 days before check-in if the client or boat are located in a coronavirus-risk zone.

Sailing license:

It is required by the Greek Port Authorities that at least two passengers of a bareboat yacht charter are certifiably qualified to navigate sailing yachts at open seas. However, in case only one passenger qualifies as such, the Port Authority will accept a formal written statement by a second passenger, that he/she carries open-sea experience (no proof will be required).
Copies of the licenses (and skipper’s passport) must be presented via email when the yacht is booked.

Charter fees include:

The right to use the designated boat type along with its inventory All taxes & VAT 12%.
Insurance (for the yacht and third party liability, the passengers and sea pollution).
Mooring fees for the day of embarkation and disembarkation.
Towels, Bed linen and quilts per rental per person.
Dinghy per rental.
Outboard engine per rental.
Gas per rental.
Cleaners floor and kitchen.
Snorkeling equipment per rental.
Covid – 19 kit.
Service by North Aegean Sailing.

Charter fees not include:

Diesel and gasoline.
Final cleaning €100, paid in cash on check
Running expenses, toiletries, provisions (food and drink supplies)
Mooring fees, water / electricity refueling during the charter
Skipper fee (optional) €170 per day, paid in cash on check in
Hostess / Cook fee (optional) €100 per day, paid in cash on check in
Transfer services from Airport or Hotel to Base

The yacht is delivered with full tanks of fuels and water. Upon return, the fuels are re-filled and the cost is paid by the charterer.

Prices:

All prices in Euro, pricelist subject to change without notice.
Charter Prices include local taxes and VAT calculated as per current rates applicable and valid to this date (VAT 12% on charter fee), subject to change without prior notice or responsibility of the Broker, the Stakeholder or the Owner.
Should any changes in applicable tax legislation take place after booking, that result in change of VAT and hence of total amount(s) due, then the difference will be credited or debited accordingly to the Charterer.

Timetable:

Embarkation: charter period start date from 17:00 hrs
Disembarkation: charter period end date by 09:00 hrs
Return to Re-delivery Base: Yacht must be back on the base in the afternoon one day before the end of the charter. Check in/out procedures time is considered to be part of the charter period. Days / hours may change with the mutual agreement of the charter company and the charterer.
Daily trips: check-in starts from 10 and check-out is until 19:00.
The check in-out of our yachts will be done by an experienced person together with the skipper of your yacht.

Keep in mind that you are responsible for returning the yacht at the pre-agreed place and time. For possible delays, at the return of the yacht, you have to inform us immediately, because we have to prepare the yacht for the next charter.

Optional Equipment arrangements:

Internet Pack: 10GB data & Wi-Fi router: 50€ per charter week
Fast check in: Fast track access to the yacht by 14:00h, 100€ per charter
Late Check-In: Late access to the yacht after 20:00 & Sunday: 100 Euro per charter

Customer Eligibility:

During the yacht delivery phase (check-in), the charter company holds the right to deny the delivery of the yacht in case the charterer is deemed not experienced to master the yacht (regardless of the possession of sailing certificate). The Base Manager is authorized by the charter company to deny such charters, for the safety of the persons and the yacht. In this case, the charterer is requested to hire a skipper in order to fulfill the charter. No money return can be provided if the charterer (who cannot master the yacht by himself) does not wish to hire a skipper and wishes to cancel the charter of the yacht. Our customers are highly recommended not to charter a sailing yacht “bareboat” without adequate experience, in order to have a safe and pleasant sailing experience.
The North Aegean Sailing company is obliged to provide all the legal papers for the departure of each vessel and shall draw up the vessel lease contract before each departure. They are also required to give you the exact vessel selected when booking. Otherwise, it will be obliged to refund the total amount paid in full as compensation.
North Aegean Sailing reserves the right to change or modify any of the terms and conditions, prices list, cancellation policy, at any time and in our sole discretion. Any changes or modification will be effective immediately upon posting of the revisions on this Web page, and you waive any right you may have to receive specific notice of such changes or modifications.
